1000W =1KW
1 KW * 1 Hr = 1 Unit
1KHW = 1 Unit

So if you run a 100-watt light bulb, 2 fans at 60 watts, and one TV at 250 watts for 1 hour, there is a 0.87 unit.
(100*5)+(60×2)+250=870w
O.87 KW * 1 hr = 0.87 unit
If 7 per unit is charged in your city, then you will be billed (0.87*7) 30 days = 182.7 rupees.
